Axalta Coating Systems has announced its participation in the inaugural Rev’n Rods & Heartland Music Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance and produced by Luken Communications, LLC, Rev’n, LLC and The Heartland Network, LLC. Join Axalta in six cities for six days of the hottest rides, the coolest cars and the brightest stars! The event, a thrilling combination of car shows, a driving tour and nightly concerts, will kick off in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday, July 17. The Rev’n Rods & Heartland Music Tour will have additional daily stops in Southaven, Mississippi; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Bowling Green, Kentucky and Bean Blossom, Indiana before the final stop in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 22, 2016. Owners of hot rods, street rods, motorcycles and classic automobiles are encouraged to go on the tour for one stop or even the whole trip. Each registration includes two free concert tickets per vehicle each registered night.

If you love cars and country music, this event is for you. Each day’s events will feature a car show complete with vendors, exhibits, food and beverages. In addition, admittance is free to the general public. Every night will end with a ticketed concert featuring the legends of country music including Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, Restless Heart, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, James Otto and John Michael Montgomery.

Axalta representatives will be on hand to offer show attendees amazing examples of automotive art created with our brilliant paints including all of our global refinish brands: Cromax, Nason, Standox and Spies Hecker, as well as our Hot Hues line of custom colors.

Axalta will also feature its 2016 Paint Outside the Can Contest . The contest is an invitation to automotive painters from across the United States and Canada to unleash their creativity using any Axalta-branded coating system to paint and decorate an unused, standard one-gallon paint can.

Submissions will be recognized and displayed via select social media channels throughout the contest. After the contest closes on September 15, 2016, six “Celebrity Picks” will be selected by industry celebrities who will vote for their favorites based on creativity, execution and degree of difficulty. In addition, six “Fan Favorites” will be chosen by fans based on the number of photo “likes” that these favorites received on Axalta’s Instagram page. Finally, one “Best-in-Show” grand prize winner will be selected from the six “Celebrity Picks.”
